  • hierarchy (big, medium, small)

USE BEAUTIFUL COLOR

  • select “native” color palette from photographs (or artwork) for continuity
  • color wheel, red, blue, yellow
    1. Monochromatic range
    2. Analogous range - always work well together because they have a lot in common
    3. Complimentary colors - opposite sides of color wheel, highest contrast colors, nothing in common
    4. Triadic colors - colors in thirds on the wheel, all go together
    5. Light and dark shades of the same color
